7:30-8:30 AM | Room: Kahili 1-2

The 4th CSS Breakfast for Under-Represented Students is aimed at building a community for individuals who identify as under-represented within the IEEE CSS community. The program includes some speakers, but most of the time will be devoted to informal interactions. The breakfast is open to students and postdocs who identify as under-represented in the control systems field, STEM, or the academic community. This may include, but is not limited to, students/postdocs who identify as being Black/African American, Hispanic, Indigenous, LGBTQ+, or as having a disability.

(This event welcomes everyone and is particularly intended to support community building among underrepresented groups in controls. Attendees may also be interested in the Women in Controls luncheon, which provides another opportunity for connection, networking, and professional support.)
